Sheryl Forbes, PhD, MEd, RN, CRN-BC, CCRP2025 Treasurer Nominee
Vision Statement: I am applying to continue the position of IACRN treasurer. I previously held the position of treasurer from 2019 – 2021 and during the most recent term of 2024-2026. My overall purpose for the position is to ensure the financial stability of our organization. During the last term, my goal was to educate the committee and chapter leaders about the overall budget. I attended the Committee Chairs and Leadership Collaborative (CCLC) meetings and created three presentations about the financial operations of our organization. I also worked with the management company and the Board of Directors to create a budget for the CCLC to use and distribute among their collaboratives. I worked with the CCLC leaders to establish a process for their committees and chairs to request funds from the CCLC budget. I would like to continue to educate our membership about the financial operations of the organization at additional events throughout the year, such as an open quarterly online evening event or during the annual conference. I believe this would increase overall understanding of our financials, enhance knowledge about the position of treasurer, and encourage others to apply for treasurer in future elections. |
